This is a flyer design I was asked to do for my boy Dj SincereOne. He's putting on a concert with some local christian mc's including myself to celebrate the completion of a study of the book of Romans they've been doing for a couple months. He wanted the design to have a indie/underground feel; a style that I particularly like to try and sharpen myself in. This is the final piece.

This was my first time really shooting a model with a car, especially one this nice. It was challenging in the beginning just trying to find a location and posing him. My boy Jose was got permission from the owner of the Chevy to shoot a couple pics in his shop. End the end I was able to get some decent shots. Came across this link of some great design work in honor of Black History Month. Decided to try and replicate the style in my own way with a pic of Ida B. Wells, who I'm actually related too some where down my family tree.

Got a chance to do some shooting today with my boy DJ Sincere. We'd been wanting to link up for a while, so we finally setup up a time over the weekend to do a shoot. I wanted to explore this idea I had of floating objects. Had fun during the shoot.
